The deserved award of the Consul of Ukraine in Gdansk
Today (December 15) an annual meeting of Heads of Consulates of Ukraine in the Republic of Poland and Honorary Consuls of Ukraine in Poland took place in Warsaw.
During this meeting, Andriy Deshchytsia, the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Ukraine to the Republic of Poland, solemnly presented to Lev Zakharchyshyn, the Consul of Ukraine in Gdansk, the Order "For Efficiency". Mr. Lev Zakharchyshyn was commended for this award by the international team of the Baltic-Black Sea Economic Forum.
The effective work of the Consul of Ukraine in Gdansk Lev Zakharchyshyn contributed to the implementation of the international project on establishing a corridor of effective cooperation from the Baltic to the eastern shores of the Caspian Sea which is coordinated by the international team of the Baltic-Black Sea Economic Forum.
This, in turn, became the foundation for the creation of the Gdynia Triangle (Gdynia and Pomeranian Voivodeship in Poland, Kherson and Kherson Region in Ukraine, Klaipeda and Klaipeda District in Lithuania). It became an additional tool for active implementation of tripartite cooperation between Poland, Ukraine and Lithuania. The above-mentioned cooperation received an additional impetus for the development at the level of the Ministers of Foreign Affairs of the three countries in Lublin and was called the "Lublin Triangle".
