Results of the meeting with OSCE SMM representative

On March 24, Volodymyr Makukha, Deputy Chairman of the Board of the Baltic-Black Sea Economic Forum, and Michele Ricca, Observer of the Kherson OSCE SMM Group in Ukraine, met online.

OSCE works for stability of peace and democracy, establishing a dialogue on common values ​​and carrying out practical work to achieve sustainable progress. Among basic directions of organization's actions are the promotion of sustainable economic growth and strengthening of international economic cooperation, counteraction to security threats.

During the meeting, the important role of communication platform of the Baltic-Black Sea Economic Forum in establishing economic security belt from the shores of the Baltic Sea to the eastern shores of the Caspian Sea was discussed. Given to the preparation for the continuation of the VII Baltic-Black Sea Economic Forum by its international team, special attention was paid to the role of a bridge between the EU and Central Asia, strengthening and developing economic partnership between them, cooperation in various fields from education and culture to energy security issues in countries where diversification of energy supply is an important segment.

This meeting can be considered the beginning of a dialogue aimed at identifying areas and forms of more fruitful cooperation.
