LEADERSHIP STRATEGY OF TURKMENISTAN FROM THE CASPIAN TO THE BALTIC

OJSC Turkmen Milli Logistik is the national freight forwarding company of Turkmenistan, one of the market leaders. It has extensive experience in organizing and implementing transportation and deliveries to (from) Turkmenistan of various products of material and technical purposes, including goods of any complexity (oversized, outsized, heavy and long cargo). The company has direct agreements with the agencies of railway, automobile, sea and river transport of Turkmenistan. It is a partner and participant in the project on establishing the international corridor of effective cooperation from the eastern coast of the Caspian Sea to the Baltic shores, which is coordinated by the Baltic-Black Sea Economic Forum. The company has long-term cooperation with the largest owners of rolling stock and freight forwarders from Asia and Europe, the Caspian, Black, Mediterranean and Baltic Seas.

General Director of OJSC Turkmen Milli Logistik, Begench Mamedov (pictured), noting the importance and relevance of the upcoming VII Baltic-Black Sea Economic Forum to be held in Kherson, said:

“Due to the wise policy of our President, respected Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov, Turkmenistan is effectively developing international cooperation in the transport and logistics sector that ensures the efficient trade relations and development of economies of both Turkmenistan and the partner countries. Turkmenistan, being the heart of the Silk Road, relying on the historical experience and successfully implementing the strategic plans of our President, is actively working on the development of international transport corridors and territories of successful cooperation.

In Ukraine, during the Baltic-Black Sea Economic Forum in Kherson, we are to discuss cooperation plans regarding the Caspian Sea area, share our experience and study the experience of our partners in the Black Sea and Baltic Sea areas, and coordinate a road map concerning further implementation of joint international projects from the Caspian to the Baltic. We plan to devote significant attention to the cooperation in direction of science, training of professional personnel and introduction of new technologies”.
