Polish Gromadka and Ukrainian Muzykivka are partners!

Gmina Gromadka is a village with a population of about 5 thousand inhabitants in southwestern Poland in Bolesławiec County, Lower Silesian Voivodeship.

This week, during the meetings of the councils of Gmina Gromadka and Muzykivka United Territorial Community, which took place simultaneously on September 24, the deputies of these councils decided to sign a partnership agreement. The procedure of solemn signing of the partnership agreement between the Gmina Gromadka (Poland) and the Muzykivka United Territorial Community (Ukraine) took place on September 25, during the VII Baltic-Black Sea Economic Forum.

On the Ukrainian side, the agreement was signed by the head of Muzykivka UTC Savely Leibzon (pictured), on the Polish side by the voit (mayor) of Gmina Gromadka Dariusz Pawliszczy.

According to the agreement, the partners Gromadka and Muzykivka provide for multilateral cooperation in the fields of economics, public administration, culture and art, sports and youth policy, education and medicine, environmental protection and energy saving and other areas.

As Dariusz Pawliszczy, the mayor of the Hromadka, said during the forum:

“The partnership (brotherhood) between the Hromadka and Muzykivka is another confirmation of the strengthening of fraternal relations between Poland and Ukraine. Cooperation between our communities has great prospects. We will always be happy to welcome friends from Muzykivka, friends from Ukraine, to share experience".
